bummer

I don't know how many of you have actually been following my design style search on Design With Christine. So today was to be my big reveal and enlighten me as to my design style, but oh the disappointment. At some point during the feedback another Melanie had begun commenting and I guess Christine didn't realize we were two different people. So the final decision was actually based on a different Melanie's responses, because she replied before I did. Ohhhhhhh, I was so sad. I did email Christine to let her know what happened and let her know that I had pretty much figured out my style based on her response to the other Melanie and how nice and fun it was to participate, so hopefully I might hear back from her. (For those of you thinking, well maybe you were the wrong Melanie, no, a bit of my letter was posted and Christine had emailed me at the beginning to say she was answering my question.)

So ANYWAYS, enough whining, I was just so hoping to be famous for a blog second. I am ecstatic to have a better idea of my design style though. I've figured it's a cross between the Pottery Barn and West Elm. Pottery Barn a little bit too traditional though I do love tons of their stuff and West Elm sometimes too modern, so I think there will be some combination of the two incorporated. I'm very happy to have found out about West Elm, because I had never heard of it and there is actually one relatively near us up in Scottsdale. We'll be checking it out soon!
