finished product

I'm not sure how well you can tell the real shade from these photos, but you get the idea. All together it took me about 4 hours to paint the room. 3 hours to do the bulk of it (9-midnight when the kids were sleeping) and then 1 hour to go back (during naptime and the older girls were glued to a movie) and do all the edgings, along the ceiling line, door frames etc. (I would recommend doing that first. I thought it was the worst part of the project and should have gotten it over with to begin with when I had the most enthusiasm/energy.) I didn't repaint any of the white since it's barely been done when the house was built. I'm pretty happy with it. At a glance it looks good, but if you look closely it's not as precise as one would like. Though certainly a fabulous first effort! Mike can touch it up a bit when he returns. Now I have to start thinking about what room I want to work on next.

I can't believe you painted THE EXACT same color as your high school room. So funny...and cute. Good work.
