$4.15 & walking

my title is about two separate topics, but as soon as I wrote it I realized they are actually really related. $4.15, I bet you can guess, is the cost of gas up here, always seems to be a bit higher than the national average. And walking is, you guessed it, Miss lucia is pretty much walking whenever she wants. But I guess I could be saying we're walking all the time now since gas is so high, but not really. While everything we need is just a short drive, it'd be quite a long walk. Though I definitely am trying to cut down on my travels and like to see how many days I can stretch filling up the tank. Usually , it's once a week, but I'm trying to get to every 10 days so we only fill up 3 times per month instead of 4. We do only have the one gas guzzling minivan though, so that's better than filling up 2 cars.

Anyway, I doubt you actually care that much about our transportation, so what else has been going on? Things seem really busy with the school year slowly coming to an end. Sasha is graduating from preschool, super excited to soon be a kindergartener and Ramona is finishing up kindergarten, quite apprehensive about going into first grade. She's heard lots of rumors that playtime is over now. And Lucia still gets dragged around everywhere with me, attached at the hip, almost literally, she's SUPER clingy. I think she started walking so quickly (she's about 10 1/2 months now) so she could keep up with me when I try to put her down. So there's tons of end of school year festivities going on, seems there almost something everyday. I'll try and take some pictures of all the adorable activities.
