When I was younger I remember always wondering why adults constantly talk about the weather. I mean seriously, what's up with that? So now I'm noticing another sign of the aging process, my frequent topic of conversation being none other than...weather. But I justify it by the fact that I live in an area with heavy winters, the kind of winters that make you a stronger person. Today is one of those days. (The scary thing is that there are so many places far colder and snowier than here!) It's so crazy just trying to get everyone out the door on a normal morning, but winter mornings are especially fun. And today is not a snow day so Ramona's still at school! Though on the way to take Sasha to school we were very literally sliding all over the road so we turned around and headed home for a pancake breakfast instead. Mike and I were ruminating over how much we miss our Jeep right about now! And what a trooper Lucia is, always getting dragged around.
These pictures were taken around 1pm and the snow isn't supposed to stop until at least 7 tonight. We'll have a fun time digging out tomorrow. If you click on the pictures to enlarge them you can actually see the snow falling, kind of pretty.
