A six year old already

One day I was saying to Mike that I feel like I'm aging so much more rapidly now. He said it's because we see our kids growing up and their aging is so obvious, whereas if you are just looking in a mirror at yourself everyday the aging process appears much more slowly. Seems right on, because today I'm feeling insanely old as my baby turns 6! Just went and took some whole wheat applesauce muffins to her class to celebrate the big day. I swear this wasn't my idea, Ramona loves these muffins I make and asked me to bring them. I was really nervous there was going to be a riot in the kindergarten class when everyone started asking where the icing was. But, most of the kids actually liked them and the rest politely said yuck and put them in the trash.
This could send me off on a whole tangent about my parenting style, quite hodge podge as some days I'll be super momma such as today and some days my kids get spaghettios straight from the can for dinner. But I digress.
So instead here's Ramona's list of reasons why it's cool to be 6 and what she has planned for the big year.
Getting to go to school
Having fun
I have a cool toy that you get to play with when you're 6
I can ride on the bus to school
Going to Friendly's for my birthday
getting mail and packages (so you all better write)
It's great being 6
